Glenn Miller - CEO of Countermeasures Information Security, Inc. He was a pioneer in proactive vulnerability assessment, retiring from Southwestern Bell Corp. after more than 25 years’ service, where he had responsibility for system, network and modem security throughout a five-state region. He has been on the security audit lecture circuit for years, headed up an independent consulting firm’s penetration testing team, and has provided lecture presentations to thousands of people. He’s been published, quoted by periodicals as far back as 1984, appeared as a featured guest on television and radio, and has provided consulting and training presentations to representatives of the Pentagon Ballistic Missile Command, Federal Reserve, Air Force, many major banks, financial institutions, utility companies and Fortune 500 corporations. Listed in the International Executive Guild’s Who’s Who, he now leads the Countermeasures team, comprised of hand-picked experts with a minimum of 15 years experience in each of their respective fields.

When lecturing or working with clients, using his combined business experience, he orients the level of discussion to the audience. With 30+ years witnessing the Information Age boom from 110 baud modems to gigabyte-capable networks, little has escaped his scrutiny. And that broad experience, when added to his understanding of how Information Technology Security affects business, combine to make Mr. Miller one of the most qualified individuals to discuss electronic, system, network and information security issues.

Len Parker - Vice President of Operations

Mr. Parker has over 35 years’ experience with Unix, cutting his teeth with Bellcore during Unix’s early development. In that amount of time, he has learned every type of Unix by the School of Hard Knocks.
When training, his goal is to save those who attend the presentations from duplicating mistakes often made by explaining typically dry material in a lively, entertaining manner. He takes great pains in order to explain things in detail before moving on to the next topic area, which is very conducive to the learning environment.
Mr. Parker is intimately familiar with a multitude of Unix and other platforms…. IBM, HP, SUN, NCR, DEC, PYRAMID, UNISYS, TRW, AT&T, and IBM Mainframes. For 12 years prior to his retirement with one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, he was the SME and third tier support for AIX and the IBM RISC/6000. Frankly, when IBM AIX technicians can’t solve a problem, they call Len. He has conducted numerous advanced training classes in UNIX to a wide variety of technical and non-technical attendees with equal success.
He is the developer of software products being used on more than 2500 Unix systems around the globe, and has responsibility for all of Countermeasures’ technical operations worldwide.
